The silver gilt crowned eagle is 39 mm long, monogram in red and white enamel to the centre. Medal total length 85 mm. Silk ribbon in the colours of the Russian flag with gilt clasp with pin fastener to the reverse. The eagle has Birmingham hallmarks, date letter r for 1916, and maker’s initials HSW & B. Weight 12.9 grams. The silk and velvet lined original presentation case with eagle in gilt to the lid. Any information on this medal / order appreciated.
