This set includes the first 11 bullion issue coins of the series, 1 of each year from 1986 through 1996. Each one is made from 1 troy oz. The mintages of these coins vary, but the 1996 bullion version has the lowest mintage of any bullion Silver Eagle. Detailed Designs from Mercanti and Weinman. The obverse of each coin displays a design that was first used for the obverse of the Walking Liberty half dollar. It was created by Adolph A. Weinman and is one of the most popular designs ever used on a US coin. The reverse shows a heraldic bald eagle design created by John Mercanti. The eagle is holding a banner with its beak while it holds a bundle of arrows and an olive branch with its talons. GEM Brilliant Uncirculated in a Whitman Album. Each coin in this set is in GEM Brilliant Uncirculated condition. These Silver Eagles will look like they just came from the Mint. They are protected by a Whitman coin album.
